However, other parts of the Lakes are within very easy reach! Ambleside, Hawkshead, The Langdales – they are all within a short, breath-taking drive.
You can also leave the car behind and explore the Lake District by bus. A regular service picks up and drops off just outside the Tourist Office in Coniston.
